Sùil Ridge Studios is my way of telling stories through photography—rooted in authenticity, connection, and intentional imagery. I’m Brandon Hill, an Army veteran, husband, and father. I started this studio with one simple goal: to help people and businesses capture meaningful moments in a way that feels genuine and lasting.
The name Sùil (pronounced “sool”) comes from Scottish Gaelic and means “eye” or “vision.” To me, photography starts with how you see the world—how you notice light, emotion, and the details others might overlook. Sùil Ridge represents my approach behind the camera: slowing down, paying attention, and creating images with purpose rather than distraction.
For me, photography is more than pressing a shutter—it’s about perspective. Whether I’m working on branding and business content, events, portraits, or lifestyle sessions, I approach every shoot with a creative eye, strong technical care, and a collaborative mindset. I want your images to reflect who you are, not just what the moment looked like.
Inspired by the landscapes and atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest, my style blends natural light, moody tones, and clean composition to create imagery that feels timeless and genuine. Rain City Reverb is my independent Pacific Northwest music publication, focused on documenting live shows, local venues, and the artists who shape the Washington music scene.
As a Washington native and lifelong lover of music, live shows have always been a place of connection, grit, energy, and peace for me. Rain City Reverb is where I combine photography and storytelling to capture the feeling of being in the room — the noise, the atmosphere, and the moments that stay with you long after the lights fade.
My goal is to cover the PNW music community with honesty and respect, highlighting real musicians, real fans, and the venues that give this scene its identity.
